Hotels and other accommodation
The Congress organisers have made block reservations in hotels across central Manchester, at special reduced rates. We have also secured rooms in several University of Manchester halls of residence (dorms).
IMPORTANT: please do NOT book directly with the hotels or other bookings agencies.
You will be able to reserve your room via the Congress website, at the reduced rates listed below, during your general Congress registration. A non-returnable deposit equivalent to one nights stay will be charged at the time of reservation, and you should pay the balance to the hotel on departure.

Locations
All of our recommended hotels are in central (downtown) Manchester, close to a wide range of restaurants and other attractions. All are within practical walking distance of the Congress venue, and are close to regular bus services.
University halls of residence (dorms) offer a lower-cost alternative, with all basic amenities and a choice of private or shared bathroom. Rooms are available at George Kenyon Hall, right next to the Congress venue, and at several halls in Victoria Park, a quiet inner suburb close to the famous “Curry Mile” of Rusholme. Internet access in all halls of residence is free of charge, but it is wired (no wireless) and will require an ethernet cable. Ethernet cables are available from the hall reception at £3.00 each.
Our travel pages include specific directions from the main rail stations to all the recommended hotels and halls.
If you are arriving from Manchester Airport, see this page for travel to hotels or this page for travel to halls of residence.
Alternatives
If our recommended hotels and residence rooms don't meet your needs, or you are too late to book your chosen option, see this page for possible alternative accommodation in the city.
