The Society for the History of Natural History was founded in 1936. An international society for the the study of the history of botany, geology and zoology in the broadest sense, the Society welcomes as members everyone with an interest in any aspect of the history of natural history. Members receive the internationally respected journal, Archives of natural history, twice a year and have free online access to the complete back file of this journal. Members also receive an entertaining and informative Newsletter three times a year.
